Warehouse Linestocker


Responsible for maintaining parts inventory to supply the Engine Upfit Center.

Perform all duties adhering to Cummins Safety Policies and Procedures.

Provide excellent internal/external customer support encompassing "Customer Support Excellence" philosophy and standards.

Proactively schedule and manage parts inventory at least two weeks prior to production launch date.

Research and track missing parts and expedite them on as needed basis.

Process related paperwork accordingly i.e. daily sign off sheets, order receipts, missing parts, parts not pulled on all work order forms.

Maintain and update the daily production schedule.

Effectively communicate and collaborate with the shop to ensure meeting shipping deadlines.

Adhere to a weekly production schedule in order to meet all deadlines for pulling parts, billing, and processing.

Stock shelves and fill bins on a daily basis in support of our natural gas and fire pump line products.

Responsible for the maintenance of accurate inventory, correct labeling of parts, and applying proper billing codes and procedures.

Help unload, check in, stock & process packing lists for arriving truck freight & stock shipments from enterprise suppliers.

Assist with the UPS and FedEx packages as needed.

Escalate any production schedule issues and/or product quality concerns to the Materials Manager on as needed basis.

Assist with the prep work for the annual physical inventory as well as participate in annual physical inventory activities.

Assist with the daily maintenance of fork lift.

Adherence to the Cummins Business Code of Conduct including setting an example of ethical behavior.

Order paint from the restock cards, order stocked/inventoried wire as notified by shop.

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record .

Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Familiarity with computers and ability to perform basic keyboarding skills.

  • Ability to compute simple math, read and understand instructions, and communicate effectively.

  • Effective use of time management techniques.

  • Ability to operate a forklift and be able to obtain a forklift certification.

  • Adhere to company safety rules and standard.

  • Requires ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds often, up to 75 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds on occasion using proper lifting tools/techniques.

  • Tasks will require bending, stretching, standing, kneeling, twisting and climbing required throughout shift.

  • Work environment requires Technician to wear identified PPE at all times
