This position can be located in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC

About this role:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing accounting practicesand procedures.

  • Manages a team engaged in collecting, recording, analyzing andreporting accounting transactions.

  • Plans, reviews and/or prepares internal and external reports,schedules and statements.

  • Oversees the account reconciliation process.

  • Reviews and monitors financial controls.

  • Participates in, and responds to internal audits.

  • Provides and interprets data from accounting records as requiredby management.

  • Coordinates accounting services and integrateswith operating needs to partner with the business.

  • Oversees the management of functions such asproperty records, general ledger, and general accounting services.

  • Coaches and mentors general accounting staff;assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs;assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.

  • Capable of leading change through various corporate & localinitiatives.

Qualifications

Skills and ExperienceRequired:

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting related experience requiredincluding supervisory experience.

  • Distribution and/or automotive industry experience a plus.

  • Prior Oracle applications experience required.

  • CPA or CMA preferred.

  • Position can be located in Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA

Education, Licenses orCertifications

  • College, university or equivalent degree inAccounting required.

  • CPA or CMA preferred.

Compensation andBenefits

Base Salary commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
