We are seeking an independent, driven and energetic HR Services intern to join our team on a 12 month fixed term basis. Based at our head office in Scoresby, you will support the team within CBS HR services. The main objective of this role is to gain broad exposure in the area of Onboarding and assist the team on delivering goal objectives.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the HR services intern will include but not limited to;

  • Work with cross functional and cross business unit subject matter experts from HR Services to:

  • Acquire a basic understanding of major processes and policies relating to Benefits and Global OnBoarding

  • Participate in the research and summary of end to end processes being applied in HR Services

  • Identify gaps and improve HR Services compliance processes

  • Assist with the root cause analysis of escalated queries as well as assist with keeping stakeholders informed of the progress made

  • Perform logistical and administrative tasks in support of the Global OnBoarding and Benefits function within CBS HR Services

  • Act as an additional Project Resource in various projects and initiatives within CBS HR Services

We are seeking applications from individuals who are from 2 nd , 3rd or penultimate year Undergraduate students who are seeking corporate experience to complement their theoretical studies. This is a dynamic role with a high degree of autonomy, so therefore the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

  • The ability to learn and grasp new concepts quickly

  • An appetite for taking on new challenges

  • Time management skills

  • High level attention to detail

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
