About the Role

A great career opportunity has become available for a hands on HR Advisor to be based in Carole Park, south-west of Brisbane to support our Northern Region, encompassing Queensland, PNG and Indonesia.

Reporting to the Regional HR Leader and working closely with the broader South Pacific HR team, your key responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Managing and facilitating all key employee life cycle activities, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, learning and development

  • Provide coaching and advice to leaders on people matters

  • Assisting in managing administration and adherence to human resources policies and procedures

  • Ensuring all cyclical activities are executed effectively (salary and performance reviews, talent reviews etc)

  • Active involvement in projects to drive continuous improvement in HR processes

This is a fast paced role working for a global organisation. In order to be successful you will:

  • Be tertiary qualified with demonstrated experience in a similar HR Advisory role

  • Have worked in an environment with strong compliance requirements

  • Adopt a proactive and positive attitude

  • Demonstrate clear commitment to customer service and safe work practices

Additionally, you will display exceptional written and verbal communicative skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with key stakeholders.
