Parts Advisor, Cummins Sales and Service

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Master Rebuild Center in Dallas, TX as a Parts Advisor.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Responsibility for data entry of inventory information to include receipt of merchandise, stock and scheduled orders, returns, cycle counts and physical inventory.

  • Receive and invoice all orders sourced from other Cummins Distributors.

  • Get a daily report of parts issues for work orders to update production.

  • Place stock, scheduled and emergency orders to DRD and Cummins.

  • Operate lift truck and forklift.

  • Assist in core management and RID’s.

  • Conduct cycle and inventory counts.

  • General housekeeping as required.

  • Maintain a clean work environment.


Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must possess strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.

  • Intermediate Computer knowledge.

  • Must be able to read and write English

  • Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

  • Must have an internal drive for customer service and provide and elevated level of service for internal and external customers.

  • Must comply with all safety rules and regulations and apply them to daily work routines for personal safety and the safety of others.

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
