This is an exciting opportunity in Darlington for a Product Engineer Fuel System Validation Engineer

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Working as part of a functional team, applying basic and specialized knowledge of engineering principles and practices across various areas and projects in the design, development, analysis and release of engine components and subsystems through the product life cycle.

  • Create design specifications and carries out design activity considering application, cost, weight, performance, product life, manufacture, assembly and service. Verifies designs using analysis and or functional testing, interprets results, drives decisions and assesses risk.

  • Evaluates customer needs and aligns requirements with identified customer expectations.

  • Works with other engineering and cross-functional disciplines to resolve product issues using problem solving methods such as FTA, 7 Step, 5 ‘Why’s etc.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Ideally candidates will have engine design understanding knowledge and exposure to the following:

  • Engineering Standards - Developing knowledge in Engineering Standards.

  • Technical Documentation - Developing knowledge in Technical Documentation.

  • Product Structure - Product structure involves an understanding of the rationale around the identification of product items and the methodology for structuring this information into saleable, manufactural and serviceable product.

  • Users are expected to demonstrate proficiency in understanding and applying product structure rules such as item compatibilities, dependencies and relationships.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • Associated STEM Degree required.

Salary £43201 - £52800 per annum (dependent on experience)
