We have an exciting opportunity in Everett, Washington for a Class A CDL Driver to provide customer service by picking up and delivering trucks, buses and RVs from the customers’ sites to and from the Everett Service Center. Other duties include:
Support the Cummins Sales and Service Philosophy, Values and Policies
Pickup and deliver customer trucks, buses and RVs using a towable vehicle for two way transport.
Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
Read and interpret maps in order to determine vehicle routes.
Demonstrate safe and defensive driving behavior at all times.
Report vehicle effects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Possess excellent verbal and written communication.
Training and experience driving commercial vehicles on local city roads.
Excellent driving record for both personal and work-related driving.
Must have, and maintain a good driving record and CDL license.
Understand and model Cummins values.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever changing environment.
A self-motivated team player with the ability to work and communicate well with customers and co-workers.
The desire to provide top quality customer service.
High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation and benefits
Hourly wage commensurate with experience plus bonus.
