Our Distribution Business Unit in Europe consists of a distributor and dealer support network. They deliver reliable sales and service of durable and high performing engine, generator set and aftermarket products to our regionally based (global) partners. This is an exciting opportunity in Gross Gerau, Germany for a Team Leader Customer Order Management. You will have supervisor responsibility within the Order Management Customer Service Team. The incumbent also has account responsibility for more complex accounts, which may require adaptation of response or extensive research, according to customer needs.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Sales Support Leads have advanced experience along with supervisor responsibilities within the Order Management Customer Service team.

  • Planning, prioritising and scheduling the team’s activities and resources to ensure continuity of service.

  • Ensuring that staff support customers through proper utilization of departmental tools, systems, documentation, processes and/or procedures.

  • Answering complex, escalated internal and customer enquiries.

  • Leading, directing, evaluating and developing customer service staff to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.

  • Owning local departmental metrics, reporting and analysis.

  • Coordinating input from staff to develop comprehensive, proactive communications to customers

  • Leading local continuous improvement projects and participating in global projects.



Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience and the ability to demonstrate working in a team and proven results indicating deep knowledge of fostering open communication

  • Must have strong ability to multitask and prioritize based on customer demands and workload.

  • Some knowledge or awareness about coaching and developing others.

  • Solid understanding of how to establish plans

  • General understanding of order entry processes, systems and overall customer support functions

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

Relevant Bacheleors Degree preferred
