MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working in our IT team you will be responsible for several key tasks including:

  • Leading small projects or initiatives from inception to completion.

  • Support and improve processes in terms of process flow mapping, data collection and analysis, testing and problem solving.

  • Analysis of business and user needs with documentation of requirements

  • Helping to identify & design business and IT solutions.

  • Involved in cross functional / cross business unit / global initiatives.

  • Supporting projects with project management methodology and tasks.

  • Support change controls within our methodologies.

  • Support business / IT compliance and internal controls.

  • Provide team coordination, communication, administration and operational support

  • Maintain and improve existing business / IT systems

  • Participate in community responsibility and charity initiatives.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Ability to learn, analyse, and understand business and technical processes

  • Any Business Studies/Management or any IT/Business related degree

  • Must be a team player with ability to work as part of a team

  • Ability to demonstrate handling multiple tasks/projects at one time

  • General IT proficiency and understanding.

  • Customer focussed and pleasant / approachable demeanour

  • Social / communication / networking skills

  • Problem solving

Education, Licenses, Certifications

Any Business Studies/Management or any IT/Business related degree

Training Provided:

  • Cummins standard training for new employees and formal business skills training (e.g. MS Office 365, communication, presentation, coordination, time management)

  • On the job training will be provided in terms of systems methodologies, systems analysis and development (may include IT Project Management).

  • Basic training will be provided in 6 Sigma methodologies.

  • The opportunity to develop your skills both personally and professionally through regular reviews with your line manager, identifying and supporting any areas which require further development.
