This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, IN for an Internal Controls Manager.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Managesa team that documents, tests, and consults on financial controls and companypolicies at the region or plant level.

  • Managesa team that documents, tests, and consults on financial controls, companypolicies, and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles at theregion or plant level; ensures that internal control documentation is accurateand up-to-date.

  • Preparesand reviews process maps and control matrices.

  • Workswith Cummins Sarbanes-Oxley auditors; tracks audit findings; collaborates withInternal Controls Director and the Accounting Policy Director to resolvefinancial accounting policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principlesissues.

  • Managesprocess improvement initiatives to enhance accounting and internal controlsystems.

  • Providesinput into and manages the annual operating plan for the work team.

  • Manages,coaches, and mentors professional staff; provides guidance and direction onproblems and issues; delegates works assignments considering employee skillsand development needs

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance or related field isrequired.

  • Experiencemanaging personnel is required

  • CertifiedPublic Accountant (CPA) designation is required.

  • CIA,CMA and/or CFE certifications are preferred as well.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary commensurate with experience.
