This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana for a Physical Security Program Manager. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • _ Responsible custodian of the Cummins Global Security Equipment & Technology List

  • _ Manages relationships with strategic security suppliers

  • _ Responsible for Global Physical Security Systems to include but not limited to physical access control, video, intrusion and perimeter defenses

  • _ Provides consulting support to the Cummins Regional Security Managers and Project Managers (new construction or retrofit)

  • _ Tracks global physical security project cost savings and efficiencies as a key metric

  • _ For major projects, may directly manage security design and integration vendors

Skills and Experience Required:

Develops Systems and Processes - Identifies and implements effective processes and procedures for accomplishing work.

Analyze Issues - Gathers relevant information systematically; considers a broad range of issues or factors; grasps complexities and perceives relationships among problems or issues; seeks input from others; uses accurate logic in analyses.

Establish Plans - Develops short- and long-range plans that are appropriately comprehensive, realistic, and effective in meeting goals; integrates planning efforts across work units.

Attention to Details - Attention to all the details of what is communicated, either written, orally, or presented. Provides accurate, consistent information on all documents.

Project Management - Project Management entails establishing and maintaining the Scope, Schedule and Resources for a project. This includes the phases of Planning, Implementation and Close-out.

Relationship Management - Develops rapport, builds trust, and creates value in relationships. Identifies networking opportunities and effectively communicates across functions, BU's, and with both internal and external business partners.

Security Cross Functional Knowledge - Knowledge of principles and processes of Employee Protection, Facilities Protection, Information Asset Protection, Product Protection, and Risk Assurance and how they are interlinked to provide an end solution to the business.

Security Risk Management - Knowledge of security risk management principles and protection techniques. This includes the elements of risk identification and the ability to implement appropriate measures to ensure controls are in place to inhibit compromise to Cummins assets.

Physical Security Architecture and Design - Ability to design, architect, and evaluate secure physical security systems. This includes an understanding of logical hardware, operating systems, and software security components.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience . Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
