CBS Accounts Payable Analyst

Description

Provides analytical support as a member of the accounts payable team.

Prepares analyses and reports for the accounts payable team; makes recommendations for changes to methods and processes based on the analyses prepared.

Prepares statistical reporting

Resolves moderately complex accounts payable issues and problems.

Builds and maintains relationships with other Finance disciplines and work teams.

Executes special projects as assigned.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subject required.

Experience

Minimal level of relevant work experience required.

  1. Provides supervisory support to the Accounts Payable Team.

2.1. Supervises a group of Accounts Payable Administrators within the established accounting policies of the company.

2.2. Coaches and mentors accounts payable administrators ; assigns work according to availability, skills and developmental needs ; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.

2.3. Manages the relevant Supplier Portfolio's as per allocations from Accounts Payable Manager.

3.1. Ability to work unsupervised within a pressurized environment.

3.2. Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively to ensure all deadlines are met in an accurate and timely manner.

3.3. Ensure that all KPI's in terms of the CBS Service Level Agreement are met and maintained.

3.4. High focus on internal controls and must be driven towards continuous improvement within environment.

3.5. Ability to communicate professionally with all employees and key stakeholders, a focus on Customer Support Excellence.
