Cummins Inc. Service Writer in Kapolei, Hawaii
The Service Writer is responsible for initiating the customer event, working in conjunction with the Service Supervisors, Service Manager and Operations Manager as an internal resource to ensure that customers are 100% satisfied with the customer support
experience, products and services that Cummins Pacific provides.
Key responsibilities include:
Greet customers and start all service events by opening the Work Order.
Determine account status and repair coverage and / or open campaigns.
Conduct Service Interview Wizards for each repair event.
Assist in handling incoming Service department calls.
Schedule pickup and delivery of customers’ vehicles.
Keep waiting customers comfortable and assist with arranging transportation as needed.
Keep front counter area clean and presentable.
Prepare and file work order packets.
Assist Operations Manager, Service Manager and Service Supervisors in Service department projects.
Assist Service Supervisors with scheduling Diagnostic Technicians.
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of experience in a service-related role.
