OurDistribution Business Unit in Europe consists of a distributor and dealersupport network. They deliver reliable sales and service of durable and highperforming engine, generator set and aftermarket products to our regionallybased (global) partners. Thisis an exciting opportunity in Mechelen, Belgium for a Regional Leader,responsible for the site in Belgium and The Netherlands.

Cummins Europe is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as Managing the operations for multiple distribution, sales, service and aftermarket sites and driving sales and commercial success of the service and aftermarket business regionally.

Your impact will beseen in these and other ways:


  • _ Managing direct reports locally and by holdinglegal responsibility for operations across the region.

  • _ Controlling and managing sales of aftermarket,service and spare parts for dealers and also some direct end user customers.

  • _ Developing the Annual Operating Plan with inputfrom Business Development and Branch Managers.

  • _ Managing market analysis for span ofresponsibilities.

  • _ Developing and maintaining business relationshipswith customers, and developing new business partners and alliances for thebusiness segment or small geography.

  • _ Managing customer service through Branch and dealeroperations.

  • _ Developing your teams and being able to adapt tovarious tasks and responsibilities within warehouse and office.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Significant relevant experience required, including managerial and budgetary experience.

  • Experience of managing operations and sales within a global business.

  • Entrepreneurial and flexible approach and attitude.

  • Knowledge of diesel engines or related products and technologies.

  • Fluent English / Dutch speaker with knowledge of French
