It is the job.This is what we call Working Right.The Benefits AdministrationSpecialist will be required to manually enter and process Cummins’ mandatorytraining records/classes from the onboarding and reboarding processes for theNorth American Distributor groups and additional acquisition groups. Thisperson will also assist in the back up of all CMI training records/class datainput management. Accuracy is highly monitored on of these trainingrecords in order to give credit to CMI employees for the work accomplished.This person will need to be confident and flexible with daily task and able tomanage under changing environment as additional administrative responsibilitieswill be added over time. Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsare a must. Additionally, the position requires someone to be detailoriented and have strong problem-solving and decision making skills whileworking with little supervision and follow up. This person must be ableto multi-task and prioritize appropriately with little direction. This personmust also be able to think outside of the box and apply critical thinking toall aspects of the role. Knowledge of Onesource, our HR system, and CumminsLearning Center (CLC) is required as well as strong familiarity with MicrosoftOutlook and Suite products. Typical Duties and Tasks:

  • Code and key all NADMandatory Training Classes in Cummins Learning Center.

  • Determine if additionalinformation is needed and what resources to utilize when gathering thatinformation.

  • Work within monthlydeadlines and within Service Level Agreement (SLA) to ensure mandatory trainingrecords are processed timely.

  • Stay in communicationwith HR, Global Learning & Development management and onboarding resourcesto ensure all training records and WWID’s are accurately entered in to thesystems.

  • Research issues whentraining records are incomplete.

  • Ensure all guidelinesand procedures are followed.

  • Assist the Health &Welfare Team with additional administrative and eligibility/reporting tasks asneeded.

  • Act as back up toMandatory Training Records Administrator. Skills

  • High school diploma orGED required.

  • 1-3 years ofadministrative experience required with additional HR experience preferred.

  • Teamwork skills with acustomer focus is required.

  • Must demonstratediscretion in dealing with time sensitive situations and confidentialinformation.

  • Ability to coordinateefforts for issue resolution with multiple teams.

  • Strong problem solving,analytical and organization abilities a must.

  • Ability to multi-task andadapt prioritization quickly.

  • Excellent interpersonalskills.

  • Self-motivated with theability to work independently; often times with little oversight.

  • Ability to manageseveral priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines as needed.

  • Superior communicationskills (both oral and written): Ability to communicate complexrequirements in simple manner to employees and team members.

  • Strong time managementskills.

  • Ability to maintainconfidentiality of sensitive information and data.

  • Customer focused withstrong follow up and follow through.

  • Works effectively anddevelops strong partnerships with internal and external partners to accomplishgoals, identify and resolve problems and continuouslyimprove quality.
