This is exciting an opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee a Customer Order Management – Intern. Cummins is where you can work on industry leading projects.
The Customer Order Management – Intern is responsible for supporting the Customer Order Management teams with general administrative tasks, data cleansing and process documentation.
Administrative office duties tosupport the Customer Order Management teams (for example: typing, filing,scanning etc.)
Generate process and proceduredocumentation - work with individual teams on documenting and formattingstandard operating procedures
Support the Facilities Coordinatorwith daily tasks, such as inventory analysis of office supplies
Perform data collection, spreadsheetcreation and data cleansing, as needed
Accuracy - Workswith minimal/acceptable error rate; seeks help for problems; paysattention to detail; follows established work procedures
Communication -Writes and speaks with accuracy and sensitivity; uses proper language,tone, location, medium (in person or via electronic form) and timing whenconveying information; and respects different communication styles ofindividuals with different backgrounds or perspectives.
Personal ComputerUsage - Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and high level of proficiencyin other MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Organization andtime management skills.
Ability to workindependently and within a team.
Performs dutiesin a diverse climate (e.g., diverse cultures, ideas, and methods).
Takesresponsibility for all assignments and duties.
Demonstrates awillingness to learn from others.
Displays a workethic consistent with desirable Cummins employees.
Performs othermiscellaneous duties, as required, to get the job done.
High Schoolstudents must be at least a junior in high school and 17 years of age.
Must berecommended by school administration.
Students are expected to work 19 hours/week.
Base salary commensurate with experience more bonus.
