Summary:

Provides day to day support in the delivery of the company’s expatriate policies and processes. Provides policy and process consultative services to assignees and other stakeholders to ensure understanding of mobility support, policies and procedures and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuresall requests for global mobility services include complete and accurateinformation, and any needed corrections are returned to globalmobility in a timely manner.

  • Developsand maintains key statistical data in the required formats; prepares anddelivers the requested data for leadership dashboards, and can explain thedata provided.

  • Providescustomer support excellence to all levels within Cummins.

  • Managesvendor relationships, raises delivery and quality issues immediately, andescalates to manager as necessary.

  • Identifies processimprovement opportunities and manages process improvementprojects.

  • Maintainscustomer services excellence attitude, and a positive, team orientedapproach to work.

  • Leads the collection, consolidation and interpretation of information required to support management of expatriate services and provide management reporting.

  • Acts as a consultant on moderately complex compensation inquires; creates strong working relationships with global payroll and remuneration providers; addresses moderately complex issues with service providers.

  • Participates in the development of budgets and costs connected to the delivery of expatriate assignments and benefits.

  • Coordinates the delivery of third party services provided to individual employee expatriates and the global mobility team; administers third party service provider annual reviews.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with business leaders and line human resources around the globe as a subject matter expert.

  • Coordinate with global tax provider to ensure worldwide tax compliance for expatriate employees, delivery of tax equalization settlements, and to answer tax related questions from individual assignees.

  • Collaborates with compensation, payroll and benefits teams on the delivery of these services to employee expatriates.

  • Provides ongoing training to line human resources, expatriate employees, internal team members and other key stakeholders on global mobility programs and practices.

  • Collaborates with the global mobility team on continuous process improvement; leads initiatives to improve performance excellence in expatriate service delivery.

  • Coaches and mentors less experienced team members.

Skills:

  • Expatriate Benefits – Has a good understanding and detailed knowledge of all expatriate programs. Experience in designing expatriate programs or strategies. Ability to perform and communicate expatriate strategy.

  • Taxation of Employee Compensation and Benefits – Understands the underlying principles, techniques and procedures associated with the taxation of employee compensation and benefits and effectively applies this knowledge.

  • HR Data Management – Understands Human Resources information requirements. Able to perform data quality reviews and take corrective actions to ensure data completeness and accuracy. Has a full understanding of information confidentiality requirements.

  • Communication – Significant experience in written and verbal communication and should be capable of communicating effectively to all levels within and outside the company.

  • Compensation Administration – Possesses a basic knowledge of pay systems, merit pay structure, and variable pay compensation structures.

  • Benefits Design and Administration – Has a good understanding of benefits programs including the design, cost structure, and experience answering employee questions.

  • Payroll Administration – Possesses and can apply the knowledge of the basic elements of payroll processing.

  • Employee Relocation Benefits - Familiar with the relocation benefits process. Understands who is eligible and has experience answering questions from employees.

  • Finance Internal Controls – Understands the importance of finance internal controls, capable of identifying, evaluating and documenting internal controls. Understands the underlying principles, techniques, and procedures of this skill.

  • Payroll Administration – Possesses and can apply the knowledge of the basic elements of payroll processing.

Education, Licenses,Certifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required. Global Mobility Specialist Designation (GMS) preferred.

Base rate commensurate with experience.
