Responsibilities:

Corporate Goal:

To provide premium power solutions for our worldwide customers accomplishing our goal of empowering all employees to execute our mission to bridge people, power and possibilities in all aspects of our business.

Job Summary:

Assembly of various component parts into a power unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Building all aspects of power units.

  • Staging components, maintaining inventory, assisting in cycle counts, stocking parts

  • Communicate and participate in regular team meetings for continuous improvement efforts, as needed.

  • Light fabrication and manufacturing potentially required.

  • Wiring and controls installation.

  • Finished product testing and packaging.

  • Apply the ECR and Issues Tracker systems to resolve open issues.

  • Utilize the computer to gather build information, create build documentation and track performance metrics.

  • Keep work area neat and clean.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Mechanical experience, preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Quality driven work and positive attitude who is willing and able to work in a team environment

  • Maintain excellent attendance.

  • Committed to continuous improvement and LEAN to help the CPP team meets its annual goals.

  • Able to work on the computer with the CPP database and Microsoft softwares as needed.

  • Fork lift certified or able to be certified.

  • Basic knowledge of hand and air tools with a strong mechanical aptitude

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics.

  • Other duties as assigned.
