This Parts Interpreter position, based in Perth, is responsible for providing technical, product and sales assistance to both internal and external customers. We are looking for a friendly and professional communicator who is able to engage with others over the phone and have face to face conversations. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will ensure all the functions of customer support are provided, ensuring a smooth and consistent delivery of service to our customers.

Day to day tasks will include:

  • Processing internal and external sales and quotes as well as dealing with enquiries

  • Providing updates to customers on the status of ordered parts

  • Ensuring processes in stock replenishment requirements are completed

  • Assisting with maintaining accurate stock control measures

  • Providing assistance to the Service Department for correct and timely parts supply

  • Always striving to exceed customer expectations and ensuring that their needs are met

  • Maintaining the Parts Counter display

  • Daily reconciliation of cash sales and pick notes

  • Maintaining and improving administrative procedures

The successful candidate will have experience within engine parts or a related industry, good communication skills and intermediate computer skills. A current forklift license would also be desirable.
