Cummins is looking for an extraordinary Service Advisor (Field Service) in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsibilities:

Assist Customers in Field Service

  • Assist with quotes and warranty coverage.

  • Help diagnose customers’ problems.

  • Consult with customers, as appropriate.

  • Assist with work order documentation.

  • Keep the shop a safe working environment; enforce safety procedures.

  • Sell our products and services; up sell, when possible.

  • Maintain professional atmosphere.

  • Ability to remain customer service focused.

  • Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to adapt to change.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Work directly with internal and external customers.

  • Comfortable working with a computer, including BMS/Oracle and Custom Reporting.

  • Ability to multi-task, detail oriented.

  • Able to resolve conflicts with customers and employees.

Qualifications

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Prior experience as a Service Advisor, Technician or similar experience preferred.

  • Prior experience working in warranty highly desirable.

  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to write routine repairs and correspondence.

  • Thrives in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers in a positive and professional way.

  • Desire to continuously develop and improve skills for high job performance.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

  • Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
