POSITION: Office Clerk

LOCATION: Pointe Claire

REPORTING TO: Hakim Nour Elyakine, Accounting Manager

FUNCTION:

Back up of reception and relief, performing data entry, filing, ordering office supplies for branch and standard forms and business cards for Company and handling internal and external mail.

DUTIES:

  • Back up of reception and relief (2.5 hours every day and 7 hours when the receptionist is absent)

  • Data entry for Accounts Payable and General Accounting

  • Order office supplies for branch

  • Order standard forms and business cards for Company

  • Internal and external mail for branch

  • Filing

  • Coordinates archives and maintains database

  • Other duties as required

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

  • Accounting knowledge an asset

  • Strong computer aptitude; experience with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word

  • Bilingual (French/English)

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Customer service focus

  • Organized, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

  • Self-starter, demonstrated energy and enthusiasm

  • Flexibility in hours
