Placement - Business Planning & Finance Analyst

We run an exciting 12 month placement where you are given an opportunity to work in a role and on real projects, making a difference in both your team and the company as a whole.
To support the Business Planning and Analytical Team in reviewing, analysing and evaluating both historical and current marketing trends, to create a 4-36 months financial and unit based Demand Plan for the Greater Europe and Middle East Regions. Focus on the continual development of existing planning and reporting procedures to improve forecast accuracy and better support the Europe, Middle East, Russia (EMER) Sales and Marketing functions.
Co-ordinate the monthly Demand Planning Process by liaising with EMER Distributors and Sales Territory Managers to receive their country level demand plans.
Support in the Consensus Reviews process by critiquing and reviewing monthly changes to the demand while capturing assumptions for those changes at units and revenue level.
To provide the Vulnerabilities and Opportunities within and on top of the latest forecast projections so the business can manage in a proactive rather than reactive manner.
Support the Regional ‘Demand Review’ step of the monthly Synchronised Business Planning (SBP) process for Greater Europe and Middle East Regions (Monthly Presentation of Demand updates to senior leadership).
Forecast Submission - Oracle Demantra input and mapping maintenance of the tool. Ensure Supply and Operations team receive the demand for manufacturing/build purposes.
Support the Sales teams with reports on historical and future demand profiling, enabling them to have a clear focus on the upcoming sales requirements for each of their accounts.
Prepare customer Order Board / Shipments update for the weekly Demand Control at Kent.
Team member of one or more cross-functional department projects.
Skills and experience required
Excellent I.C.T skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
Understanding of latest Marketing trends, Commercial and Financial basics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Flexible and proactive attitude with a desire to learn and take on responsibility.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Studying for a Business related degree.
