What do you need to become a Cummins parts professional? This position creates “Customer Value” by delivering dependable solutions through Customer Support Excellence. Other duties include:
Shipping of customer parts orders using UPS, FedEx, USPS.
Receive in and put away parts orders.
Pick and pack customer orders & handle core as needed.
Some customer deliveries as required.
Housekeeping and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
High School Graduate or GED
Minimum of two years related experience.
Computer proficiency required.
Knowledge of full service truck parts and Cummins Engines.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees in a professional manner on the phone and in person.
Ability to safely operate parts handling equipment and possess a minimum level of math and analytical skills.
Knowledge of the processes and systems required to ship and receive engines and parts, and properly document goods entering and leaving the premises.
Must possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and operate a vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
Understand and abide by local and state driving laws.
Must have the ability to follow directions and read a map.
The physical ability to perform all of the work in a safe manner.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Frequent lifting, reaching above the shoulder.
Standing, bending, sitting.
