We are currently seeking a dynamic Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) professional to join our team and support our dealership network throughout Victorian and New Zealand. Reporting to the HSE Director, this role will require you to work collaboratively with other members of the HSE team and stakeholders across the South Pacific region to ensure effective HSE management systems, reporting/analysis and functional HSE support.

The primary focus role of this role is centered upon developing and maintaining HSE management systems and certifications, functional HSE support and providing a variety of HSE support activities to facilitate preventing harm to workers, property, the environment and organisation to achieve our zero harm vision.

Based from our regional headquarters in Scoresby, your main areas of responsibility will be:

  • Implementation and maintenance of the HSE managementsystem

  • Collate reporting data and conduct analysisactivities

  • Provide functional HSE support and sound legallycompliant HSE advice

  • Implementation and development of HSE policies,procedures and plans

  • Assisting with business safety planning andperformance improvement;

  • Business focused response to day to day HSE issues(e.g. hazards, assessing risks and determining appropriate risk controlmeasures)

  • Up skilling of management and employees to championthe development of an empowered organisational health and safety culture.

Success will rely heavily upon you bringing:

  • Relevanttertiary qualification in OHS, Environment or related discipline.

  • Soundknowledge of relevant HSE legislation within Australia and New Zealand

  • DemonstratedProject Management skills

  • Understandingand experience in effective change management techniques

  • Experiencein building close working relationships

  • Solidanalytical skills with an agile and innovative mindset

  • Excellentstakeholder partnering skills

  • Acustomer centric focus with a high level of integrity

  • Exceptionalcommunication, engagement and interpersonal skills

Ideally possessing a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, you will have demonstrated experience in facilitating and delivering training/workshops and developing HSE curriculum.
