We are currently seeking a dynamic and agile individual to join our Finance team as a Credit Officer to support our valued customers throughout our South Pacific region (Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea). Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for a high volume of administrative activities and collection of debt requiring much interaction with stakeholders of all levels.

As a Credit Officer based at our Scoresby regional headquarters, your daily responsibilities will include

  • Maintenance of accounts within the Accounts Receivable portfolio

  • Developing and maintaining process documents for key accounts

  • Account reconciliation’s on a 30 day cycle

  • Maintain and Administer disputes

  • Preparation of files for transfer to Debt recovery

  • Develop critical business relationships with relevant stakeholders

  • Maintenance of records database

  • Escalation of unresolved queries and business critical information to the A/R Manager within set time frames.

  • Ensure all customer accounts are registered in the customer portal

  • Identify changes in payment patterns to prevent bad debt

You must also be able to demonstrate a successful history of working in a high volume transactional environment. Previous exposure to Accounts Receivable and understanding of Accounting and Audit principles is highly desirable, however not essential for this role.
