Regional Channel Readiness Manager
Accountable for the channel readiness process for the Distribution Business Unit for all Value Package Introductions and new product introductions for both the Engine Business and Power Generation business within the region of responsibility serviced through Cummins standard support models (non-self serving). Provides leadership and direction to the Distribution network in achieving readiness. Assures that the parts, information, training and tooling requirements are executed regionally within the distribution channel for the targeted channel of support.
Communicate certification costs to distributor Principals, Chief Financial Officers and service leadership for new product launches.
Liaison between Product Business Unit Regional Channel Readiness Leaders and Distributors in managed territory.
Communicate certification price strategy for readiness including retail and dealer margins.
Executes the readiness strategy with distributors in region for target branches and dealers.
Accountable for adherence to certification standards including parts, information, tools, training, contracts and signage.
Leadership in removing barriers for achieving certification targets.
Accountable and responsible for monitoring and reporting progress versus plan to key stakeholders.
Responsible for Regional Readiness workshop that includes, Distributor Business Unit, Engine Business Unit, Power Generation Business Unit and Distributors to work readiness issues and identify process improvements within the region.
Accountable for service provider accuracy, including product details and product development plan, for all service providers in territory.
This includes Engine Business Unit and Power Generation Business Unit, Distributors and Dealers.
Responsible for annual operating plan communication and planning with Distributors for readiness activities.
Provide business requirements to Product Business Units on new product launches.

Facilitating Internal Relationships & Consensus - Has experience with large group dynamics and proven relationship skills.
Focus on Customers Needs - Able to leverage network of customer contacts to attain customer specific information that will provide useful in making informed business decisions and increase understanding of customer needs.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Business or Engineering required.
Significant relevant work experience, including supervisory experience, required.
