This is an exciting opportunity in Stockton on Tees or Peterborough for a Financial Controller.

Cummins Business Services is where you can work on industry leading projects such as developing financial processes within new regional countries, onboarding and standardizing finance work and developing a collaborative environment within the key EMEA regions.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • You will be responsible for all accounting practices, budgeting, financial controls, costs, and financial reporting for the Corporate line of business

  • Leading the Annual Operating Plan and forecasting processes within the EMEA region.

  • Partnering with Business Leaders to provide valuable financial insight into the development of business strategies.

  • Leads capital expenditure projects and overall capital management process. Working with the businesses to provide leadership on logistics and working capital targets.

  • Overseeing of all monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the EMEA region including all corporate and regulatory reporting requirements.

  • You will be responsible for managing, coaching, mentoring and developing three direct reports and for ensuring collaboration between the three regions within the EMEA.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven leadership skills in the area of coaching, developing and leading of direct and indirect reports.

  • You will ideally have gained experience of continuous improvement within a financial environment, in order to streamline and create efficiencies/standardisation of financial processes.

  • Significant experience of financial and management reporting and budgeting at Senior Leadership level, including presentation and communication of findings.

  • Solid understanding of international finance/business management.

  • You will ideally have the ability to trouble shoot and be able to influence others to help drive improvement.

  • Shared service, large manufacturing or distribution centre experience would be a bonus or any other complex matrix organisation experience.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range £72,000-£88,000

25 days holiday plus statutory holidays,

Variable bonus (dependent on performance of the company) 20%
