We are looking for a talented HSE Leader to join our team specializing in Risk and Supply Chain Atlanta, Georgia

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide hands-on support to sites across the region to achieve health, safety, environmental, and sustainability objectives. Leads best practice sharing.

  • Contributes to standardized solutions for common problems to improve health, safety, environmental, and sustainability risk reduction and proficiency across the region to support and maintain the global strategy.

  • Provides hands-on support to regional sites for the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs, initiatives, and tools to achieve regional objectives and targets.

  • Represents the region when collaborating and working with global teams to drive continuous improvement through program, policy and procedure development.

  • Coaches sites in the implementation of health, safety, environmental, and sustainability hazard and risk controls through the development of procedures and other administrative controls, engineering controls, education, and awareness programs.

  • Solves non-routine and or common health, safety, environment, and sustainability problems across the region while driving standardization and best practice implementation.

  • Leads or participates in regional health, safety, environment, and sustainability audits. Support sites before and after audits to ensure audit preparedness and conformance.

  • Coaches and mentors local site health, safety, environment, and sustainability and other resources, identifying opportunities for growth and professional development.

  • Provides hands-on support to contribute to the local incident investigation of severe incidents while meeting reporting obligations.

  • Leads the management and evaluation of regional health, safety, environment, and sustainability suppliers and consultants.

  • Executes health, safety, environment, and sustainability communication objectives to achieve the global communication strategy.

  • Travels routinely to sites within the region. Manages all aspects of travel.

  • Health, Safety and Environment Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis - Examines HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence-based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting and avoiding repeated incidents.

  • Risk Assessment - Evaluates hazards within the work environment by applying hazard identification and risk assessment techniques to analyze and prioritize risk, enabling a selection of control measures that reduce risk as low as reasonably practicable.

  • Implementation of Risk Controls - Selects and implements risk control methods by utilizing the hierarchy of controls to implement sustainable control measures in order to protect people by reducing overall risks to as low as reasonably practicable.

  • Influence the Health, Safety and Environmental Culture - Champions positive health and safety behaviors by influencing leaders and employees to create the right environment.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or university equivalent required. Health and Safety and/or Environmental degree preferred.

Additional Information

  • Significant relevant HSE experience required. 5-7 years of experience.

  • Previous experience working across various countries within the region preferred.

  • Progress toward professional certification, preferred.

  • This is a US based role that can be remotely done from any US location.

  • Position will require 25-40% travel to sites on a monthly basis.

  • Significant project management experience is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $114,400-171,600.00. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
