About the role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you’ll be based in our busy Carole Park workshop working across a variety of on-highway engines with a focus on our ISX series.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot any repair engine sub-systems

  • Repair and remanufacture engine sub-components

  • Engine rebuilds

  • Troubleshooting and testing using engine dyno

  • Work closely with your direct team and other Cummins employees

  • Build great working relationships customers, suppliers and contractors

  • Undertake all paperwork accurately and timely

  • Do every task safely, every day

  • The successful applicants will work a full time, Monday to Friday role and have the opportunity to complete overtime hours and rotating Saturday work.

About you

  • Relevant trade qualification (Light Automotive, Heavy Vehicle)

  • Have a proven track record servicing and repairing engines, with some diesel experience

  • Ideally possess engine rebuild and diagnostic experience

  • A “do things right the first time attitude” following systems/procedures

  • Have an engaging safe work approach and customer service focus
