If you are driven and motivated to become part of a dynamic team, our Grande Prairie Branch has an opening for a Service Writer . Reporting to Service Manager, you will be responsible for service advising duties such as scheduling customer repairs and creating repair plans.

Additional responsibilities are described below:

  • Preparing work orders, customer estimates, invoices and reports as required

  • Prompt Greeting and acknowledgement of customers (Phone and Counter Support)

  • Creating Diagnostic and Maintenance Appointments

  • Scheduling Technicians for their associated appointments

  • Will be responsible for proactively contacting customers who are applicable for campaign repairs

  • Perform general administration duties as required

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Previous service writer experience in an automotive or heavy duty industry is an asset

  • Parts oriented or a mechanical knowledge will be an asset

  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, BMS)

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Must be able to work under pressure

  • Excellent phone manner and ability to deal with customers directly

  • Must be able to multi-task and work as a member of the team

  • Must display sound judgment and maturity

  • Must be able to learn quickly and solve problems

  • Flexible with respect to working hours

This position will work Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM along with some weekend coverage. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur are made in accordance with the terms and conditions of employment.
