We are looking for a talented Process Engineering Technician to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Columbus, IN.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:  

 

 

External Description:

 
     
  • Performs basic non production activities which support the manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with direct guidance.
  •  
  • Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation, policies and procedures..
  •  
  • Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system.
  •  
  • Follows all process documentation and quality procedures.
  •  
  • Logs all returned, rejected, or scrapped parts that enter the cage with a description.
  •  
  • Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
  •  
  • Performs quality inspections.
  •  
 

Qualifications

 
     
  • Fully proficient performing skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities
  •  
  • Instructs and coaches others and acts as an informal resource for team members with less capability.
  •  
  • Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
  •  
  • Ensures accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.
  •  
  • Work with peers and support staff to: 
    - Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints
    - Solve problems and improve processes
    - Participate in continuous improvement activities
  •  
 

 

 

Education, Licenses, Certifications

 
     
  •  High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  •  
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  •  
 

 

Experience

 
     
  • Minimal or no work experience required.
  •  
  • Cage Attendant to control parts on quality cage and supplier rejection.
  •  
 

Compensation and Benefits 

 

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
