DS&C Spark Ignition - Technical Specialist

Description

We are looking for a talented Electronic Systems Product Specialist to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Corporate/CBS Segment in Columbus IN and Hybrid to your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • This role will be responsible for developing and implementing new controls and software within multiple subsystems of new and different Cummins engines

  • Work to develop controls algorithms to help support the new products by Cummins Spark division

  • Will work with different control factors to optimize performance by working to developing new controls, implementing those controls in both prototype and final production forms, collecting and analyzing data, identifying possible improvements, and other forms analysis

  • Help to aide in upholding the different regulatory & service requirements

  • Work cross-functionally with many of the different internal teams at Cummins to help produce optimal performance within different engines

  • Collaborate with fellow team members, performance engineers, program teams, and other various teams to discuss high level objectives, projections, and planning for the different programs that are being supported by the Controls team

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • University or College degree in Engineering or related field is required

  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience working in a similar or related role

  • Must have track record of working with data, and data analysis

  • Experience working with Controls’ is highly desirable

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
