Electronic Control System Technical Specialist - Test
We are looking for a talented ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS TECHNICAL SPECIALIST - SOFTWARE to join our team specializing in ENGINEERING for our Cummins Emission Solutions in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Candidates will be involved in specification, design, implementation, testing and/or release of software that controls the operation of products in a variety of customer application
Applies and improves embedded software development processes and tools. Processes include model-based development, coding, compiling and test
Will make decisions in the areas of software requirements, architecture, design, implementation and test that impact the quality and performance of software subsystems and feature classes
Leads the development and improvement of work processes and systems across a functional discipline area within a business unit site
Provides support and guidance to influence technical direction within a project team and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success
Obtains input and negotiates with product and software development teams and delivers verified software features, components, builds to product teams
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Master’s degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or in relevant technical disciplines is needed
Candidate must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written; confidently prepare and present in meetings to Team members and Stake Holders either virtually or in person
Knowledge of automated testing tools, scripting, creating and using simulation environments i.e.; Simulink, code editors, integration tools, static analysis tools, compilers and hardware in the loop test tools
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
