Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer - Technical Specialist

We are looking for a talented Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team specializing in Cybersecurity. This role is passed in Columbus, IN and will be remote three days a week.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Analyze high level customer requirements and translate them into detailed embedded software cybersecurity requirements.

  • Design and implement security features in embedded software systems

  • Creating and developing a holistic product platform including key architectural feature and function variants needed to align with market level product plans of future target markets

  • Using appropriate methods and tools to translate stakeholder needs into verifiable requirements to which designs are developed; establishes acceptance criteria for the system

  • Designing and Constructing embedded software using industry best practices and robust software engineering principles; verifies software updates to ensure quality products

  • Applying and improving embedded software development processes and tools. Processes include model based development, coding, compiling and test. Tools include Simulink, code editors, integration tools, static analysis tools, compilers and hardware in the loop test tools.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required, or post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area

  • 3 years of experience with embedded C/C software development, and familiarity with automotive electronics communication protocols, such as UDS, CAN, CAN-FD etc.

  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics interfaces, such as UDS, XCP, vehicle Ethernet, J1939, ODX, OTX etc.

  • Experience with microcontrollers such as Infineon, NXP or Arm Cores, and experience with AUTOSAR architecture

  • Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools such as Vector DaVinci Configurator Pro, and PREEvision

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
