This is an exciting opportunity for IT Technical Analyst Principals #IN851 in Columbus, Indiana.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Review IT architecture policies and standards to ensure proposed resolution to system technical issues are properly troubleshot and resolved.
Develop the solution design and configure In-System and Cross-site Data Replications.
Identify, build and test storage infrastructure to resolve system technical issues.
Create and manage lifecycle of technical specifications from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the application, infrastructure, or complete solution.
Develop plans for Data Center Power Outage Scenario and coordinate with other teams to test and maintain the Firmware and MicroCode Levels of SAN and Storage Systems.
Propose technical analysis of potential solutions including evaluating the technical fit and viability of commercial-off-the-shelf product versus custom built solution.
Deliver solution adhering to standards and leveraging re-use of components.
Serve as technical expert in IT system projects utilizing Oracle and Siebel in order to analyze application functionality and make recommendations for improvements.
Implement Incident, Problem and Change Management Modules of IT Service Management (ITSM).
Create high level and detail design of infrastructure or applications, interfaces, conversions, extensions, reports, and workflows while meeting architecture, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
Train technical and infrastructure groups in understanding the solution design and specifications and Performance Tuning of Enterprise Backup, SAN and Storage Environments.
Work closely with IT technical service providers as well as engineering teams to ensure outsourced work packages are delivered to specifications, meeting key parameters or quality, schedule, cost, security, performance and scalability.
Define IT architecture strategies and Data Migrations according to client Data LifeCycle Management Policy.
Lead formal design and code reviews to ensure that detailed design specifications have been understood and coding standards have been adhered to by the development teams.
Analyze and revise existing systems and documentation to identify remediation or improvements when developing and testing Disaster Recovery Process.
Skills and Experience Required:
Design, Build and Test Storage Infrastructure
Performance Tuning of Enterprise Backup, SAN and Storage Environments
Implement Incident, Problem and Change Management Modules of IT Service Management (ITSM)
Configure In-System and Cross-site Data Replications
Develop, Plan, Coordinate and Test Data Center Power Outage Scenario
Develop and Test Disaster Recovery Process
Data Migrations according to client Data LifeCycle Management Policy
Maintain the Firmware and MicroCode Levels of SAN and Storage Systems
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications:
Position requires a Master’s degree in Management or Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Software or Systems Engineer, Computer Systems or Technology Analyst, Consultant, or related position.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Management or Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Software or Systems Engineer, Computer Systems or Technology Analyst, Consultant, or related position.
JOB SITE: Columbus, Indiana
WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus.
