We are looking for a talented Metrology & Calibration Engineer, Sr . to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Electronic & Fuel Systems Business Unit/ Components Business Segment at our Columbus, IN site.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Lead and coach internal team members.
Train team member on industry 4.0 standards to ensure compliance.
Establish customer relationships to eliminate ongoing issues.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Physics or Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject required.
At least three years of professional experience in Engineering, Metrology or other related topic.
Metrology and Calibration experience
Pror supervisory experience.
Maintain & adhere to International Automotive Task Force system requirements.
Lead Quality/Gaging projects, such as capital, improvements, capabilities
Manage Dimensions Metrology Calibration Lab and equipment.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
