RESPONSIBILITIES

DevOps & Continuous Delivery Expertise Implement DevOps practices and manage a continuous delivery pipeline to enable rapid, reliable, and flexible release of value in response to market and customer needs.
Lean-Agile & SAFe Leadership Advocate for Agile Manifesto principles and Lean thinking, guiding teams and stakeholders in adopting and applying SAFe practices to drive organizational agility.
Ceremony Planning & Facilitation Skillfully plan and lead agile ceremonies that foster team cadence, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Release Planning Coordinate the release of features and capabilities by aligning roadmaps, team capacity, and business priorities to communicate clear timelines and expectations.
Project Management Discipline Balance scope, schedule, and resources effectively to ensure that temporary efforts (projects) deliver meaningful and measurable results.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
Agile Certification (Certified Scrum Master - CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Safe Scrum Master Certification (SSM) are preferred.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Experience working in a software development organization and in an Agile environment as a scrum master demonstrating knowledge and practical experience of the Lean methodology, principles and tools are preferred.
Additional Responsibilities:
3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master leading IT projects or IT initiatives in Agile environments.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and core technology concepts.
Proven experience working with cross-functional teams , including developers, testers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Proficiency in Agile project tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence .
Ensure sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives are scheduled, organized, and executed with the team(s) to ensure continuous improvement and successful outcomes
Quickly identify, mitigate, and/or resolve impediments at all levels and escalate when assistance is needed to keep the team moving forward
Ensure the Team is developing and maintaining relevant documentation and updating required systems to ensure transparency and relevancy of data
Ensure all Team members understand their role and how to use any tools to provide daily/weekly updates, so the team knows what is expected and when
Engage senior leaders/management/sponsors to ensure any cultural challenges and/or inconsistent processes are addressed quickly
Avoid Scrum anti-patterns and follow a consistent framework using the 5335x model below:
Embrace 5 Scrum Values (commitment, focus, openness, respect, courage)
Establish 3 Scrum Accountabilities (PO - Product Owner, Developers, SM - Scrum Master)
Manage 3 Scrum Artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment)
Schedule 5 Scrum Events (Sprint, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective)
