Senior Software Developer - Tools


We are looking for a talented Senior Software Developer - Tools to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Components Business Segment in Columbus IN , and Hybrid to your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Perform all phases of SDLC including but not limited to requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, testing

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable code following industry standard coding practices and code reviews

  • Deliver work as per agile Scrum (SPRINTs), communicate roadblocks, risks and issues for timely resolution

  • Provide support to end users by resolving their questions, issues and/or helping them to use applications in a better way

  • Collaborate with stakeholders/end users to clarify issues or new user requests

  • Being highly motivated to work on challenging software development and able to work with limited hand holding


Prior entry level engineering equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Must have a College or University Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum 4 years of software development experience using object-oriented programming

  • Proven experience and proficiency in JAVA, Spring Boot, Angular, Oracle SQL, REST API, Apache Tomcat, automated test framework/testing for JAVA/Angular based applications is highly desirable

  • Experience and/or knowledge in developing applications and/or migration to Cloud infrastructure is high desirable

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
