Serialized Asset Master Business Process Lead (Off-Site)

Description

We are looking for a talented Business Process Lead (Off-Site) to join our Enterprise Data Management team specializing for our Corporate in Columbus, Indiana/ your remote home office to lead functional process design and data governance work for Serialized Assets domain (serialized products: engines, gensets etc.).

  • Serialized Asset Master is a foundation to enable lineage and traceability of a serialized asset across business segments.

  • Consolidated, standardized, and harmonized serialized asset data is a key foundation for several use cases across all the end-to-end value streams, analytics, and digital product offerings.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Assures definition, ownership, metadata management, and security for Cummins data.

  • Work with functional stakeholders to identify critical data elements

  • Understand landscape of current applications maintaining serialized asset data and finalize approach for Serialized Asset Master foundation

  • Work with domain leader and functional stakeholders to finalize and deliver roadmap

  • Work with functional stakeholders to finalize business process, data standards, transformation rules and harmonization strategy

  • Establish data quality rules and KPIs

  • Establish relevant data quality audits, reporting and remediation process

  • Lead and facilitate Serialized Asset Master data governance council as needed

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • 8 Minimum years of experience

  • Must have experience in the automotive industry

  • Data Management experience

  • Understanding of cross functional touchpoints of data in Supply Chain, manufacturing, and Service functional areas

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to understand and create cross functional business process data flows

  • Passion for data quality and continuous improvement to deliver business results

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
