This is an exciting opportunity in Craiova for a LaboratoryOperations Engineer – Technical Specialist.

Your impact will be seenin these and other ways:

  • Applies specialized knowledge of engineering principles and practices across various areas and projects.

  • Specifies, designs and maintains test environment and instrumentation in support of product development and evaluation requirements.

  • Develops laboratory-controlled test processes to evaluate product performance.

  • May conduct experiments, analyze data and document results. Works collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to meet new requirements.

  • Applies technical expertise on complex components or projects with minimal supervision.

  • Provides technical direction for a project or a project team.

  • Participates as a key contributor and is accountable for project success.

Proposes innovative initiatives and projects.

  • Demonstrates depth of knowledge of engineering discipline(s) and leverages expertise on other projects.

  • Troubleshoots complex problems and recommends appropriate actions.

  • Assists with the transfer of knowledge; coaches and mentors less experienced engineers.

  • responsible for respecting safety requirements in test filed area

  • organize and test the generators based on technical documentation requirements, standards, client requirements

  • report all nonconformities and issued the appropriate QA documents

  • check the status of instruments / systems calibration

  • work directly with surveyors, clients – for generators tests



  • Project Management - Has a good understanding of and effectively applies project management techniques in low to moderately complex projects.

  • Measurement Uncertainty Analysis - Able to analyze and document measurement uncertainty of test systems and processes.

  • Ability to develop new uncertainty models using the GUM method, identify type A and B contributors and calculate sensitivity coefficients.

  • Test System Design And Diagnostics - Able to design and configure test equipment according to established practices.

  • A strong understanding of sensors, computerized data acquisition and control systems, and ability to select appropriate components for specific test requirements.

  • Working knowledge of common control loop techniques and ability to diagnose system failures.

  • Analyze Issues - Solid understanding of how to analyze issues.

  • Demonstrates use of analysis skills to learn and analyze information in a timely way.

  • Understands complex concepts and problems and identifies how they relate to key processes.

  • Applies accurate logic in solving problems. Differentiates what is critical and what is important while not getting bogged down in details.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required. Advanced degrees are a benefit.


Significant level of relevant work experience required – at least 3 years’ experience in a similar discipline.
