We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Engineer to join our global manufacturing organization. You will be a keen expert in Engineered Material Flow and passionate about collaborating with key stakeholders across global sites as well as other functions and teams such as Materials, Warehousing, Packaging, Transportation, Contractors and Regional Operating teams.
This is a remote role which will include 35% travel to customer sites across various locations in the world.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Highly responsible for process mapping and creating logistics process design of the engineered materials flow implementation across all EMEA manufacturing sites
Design and implementation of internal logistics considering all factors impacting material flow within the facilities of the plants such as inbound material flow, PFEP, Warehousing Parameters, Packaging requirements, Line side delivery, lineside presentation and finished good material flow
Collaboration and efficient communication with key stakeholders globally to support and define the Engineered Material Flow implementation road map.
Ensure EMF Frameworks are fully aligned with Warehousing, Packaging, Transportation, OE & Planet 2050 strategies
Support new plant start up design of efficient and effective plant layouts
Support manufacturing sites in creating 3D models and simulations for facilities in UK / Europe
Responsible for creating manufacturing process plans for new models for sites to be launched in 2055
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or qualified by experience
Business fluent in English – Verbal and Written
Experienced in ERP Systems / Warehouse Systems or Modelling / Simulation Tools
Previous experience in process mapping / process design of new start up manufacturing plants in the automotive industry
Salary and Benefits; £48,200 - £58,500
