Placement - Customer Order Management Analyst

Description

Cummins are now recruiting for our 2020 intake of 12 month placements in the UK, which provide a meaningful opportunity for university students to accomplish real-world projects in a professional environment.

The responsibilities of this role will include :-

  • Download and format customer order boards from Oracle OBIEE for distribution

.

  • Continuous collation of data attributed to the Business using Oracle/Excel and providing the reports to a worldwide audience

.

  • Researching various attributes of the Plant using Oracle/Excel and liaising with various departments in the creation of reports when required.

  • Liaising with shipping, providing essential documentation and creating important reports.

  • Prepare detailed Customer/Distributor Score Cards for review on a quarterly basis.

  • Data compilation for inclusion in a monthly report.

  • Working under the guidance of the Senior Account Representative, the student will be involved with all aspects of order management and customer interface with the Plant

.

  • Encouraged to get involved with all other departments at the Plant to gain good knowledge and understanding of a global multinational organization

  • Continuously encouraged to provide own input to review and improve current processes for mutual benefit.

The role will provide excellent experience for your CV and an introduction to a business analyst role in industry. A mentor will be there to guide you through your placement year. The following training will be provided:

  • Training in Corporate systems such as Oracle and familiarisation with other business software.

  • Coaching to enable the development of other business skills.

  • Internal Placement and Graduate Networks

Qualifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in business or a related subject required

  • Computer literacy - proficient knowledge of Windows, in particular Microsoft Excel
