Your tasks
Collaborate with suppliers and customers to promptly identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring compliance with Cummins' standards.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to collectively address quality concerns.
Analyze supplier data on defect rates, delivery times, and quality adherence to optimize performance.
Develop and maintain transparent supplier scorecards to track and communicate performance metrics.
Meticulously document inspection results and corrective actions for accurate record-keeping and regulatory compliance.
Streamline manufacturing processes and improve product quality through collaborative problem-solving with suppliers.
Share best practices and provide hands-on guidance for continuous improvement in quality processes.
Foster a culture of quality and innovation among supplier staff, promoting proactive quality management.
Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks related to enclosure quality.
Conduct thorough root cause analysis for recurring quality issues to prevent reoccurrence.
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of quality management principles.
Proven experience in supplier quality management and root cause analysis,
Significant experience within Manufacturing or Engineering.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 25%-40%.
