We are looking for a talented student to join our team for our School To Work , Finance in Florence, KY.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
The Cummins-Meritor Cooperative Education Student who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Business Management. The primary role of the school-to-work, Finance is to provide administrative support to the North America Aftermarket team. The student will, at the same time, gain real world experience and education in the field of Finance in a business-to-business environment.
Handle daily costing of production parts for USA, Canada, and Mexico facilities.
Develop databases and files using Microsoft Access and Excel that reduce the time to complete day-to-day tasks and increase data accuracy.
Data gathering with sites in USA, Canada, & Mexico.
Administration & tracking of miscellaneous shipper process.
Develop & update process & training documentation.
Semester project to be determined with supervisor and other activities required by supervisor.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools preferred.
Ability to learn on the job in a dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and within teams as needed.
Demonstrates written and oral communication skills, including presentation creation.
Strong teamwork and ability to interact with all levels of the organizations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Education, Licenses, Certification
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Business Administration.
Post-Secondary:
Must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters.
Must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate from $17.60 and above, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
