We are currently seeking a Service Advisor to become part of the dynamic team at our Fort McMurray, AB branch. Reporting to the Service Manager you will serve as key customer contact to promote quality customer service and increase business within the branch location.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assess customer’s needs, gather pertinent information, and open work orders.
Provide quotes, develop claims, prepare repair plans, schedule work and provide status updates to customers on repair work in the shop.
Develop diagnostic plans, quotes and repair plans by determining the length of repair based on parts and labor availability.
Review diagnostic plans, quotes and repair plans with the Service Supervisor prior to customer contact.
Work with the Service Supervisor to schedule shop job assignments.
Develop positive relationships with key customers.
Resolve customer concerns regarding Cummins or distributor warranties
Explain charges to customers.
Monitor key performance metrics for the workshop, including labor productivity and customer satisfaction.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Must have a High School Diploma.
Preference for Post-Secondary training / education.
Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada without sponsorship.
3 years of previous Service experience in a Truck Maintenance environment.
Previous experience with Cummins tools and software considered an asset.
Our Pre-Employment Background Screening process consists of a Criminal Background Check as well as Education and Work Experience Verification.
Specific Tickets / Licenses are checked as required, and Drivers Abstracts are required for any position where driving is part of the job.
