This is an exciting opportunity, based out of Galesburg/Kalamazoo, MI for a:
Powertrain Integration Engineer (Hybrid)
(Hybrid Role) - This role may require some periodic on-site work, as well as working remotely offsite.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Partnering with OEM to develop and optimize transmission calibrations that meet/exceed their requirements for fluid economy, performance and drivability.
Ensure engines meet the minimum integration standards through certification testing
Gathering customer requirements and documenting new requests
Working with product engineering to implement new functionality, and performing validation testing to confirm that system and functional requirements are met.
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
Minimum of 3 years of Relevant work experience, preferably in related Engineering Discipline
Class A commercial driver's license or ability to obtain one (Required)
Familiarity with Vector tools such CANape and CANalyzer (A Plus)
Basic understanding of vehicle drivetrain/powertrain systems and components (Preferred)
Safety & Hazard analysis experience (A Plus)
