The Parts Technician has safety, customer satisfaction, and business responsibilities within branch operations. The person in this role is responsible for supporting service work order parts requests and assisting customers with parts sales at the parts counter.

Skills and Experience Required:

Follow established processes in the enterprise of disassembly bolt/fastener inspection and sorting for reuse.

Know, follow, lead, and enforce all Company and customer safety rules, including maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area, and fully participate in Company accident prevention and safety improvement activities.

Follow records and work instructions to identify fastener and small brackets then locate them into appropriate bins which will be located on weight scales.

  • Document the weight of each bin and place a weight placard on each tote to communicate the weight for further downstream operations.

  • Provide feedback as needed on necessary changes to work instructions.

  • Maintain safe, clean and tidy work area and contribute to cleanliness and safety of Rebuild facility and activities, contributing positively, as part of Team effort.

  • Participate in daily team based Job Safety Observations to improve safety communication and to eliminate work place hazards.

Assist with operations of rebuild:

  • Cleanliness, tidiness of HHP facility – minus floor scrubber

  • Safety inspections and safety compliance

  • Contribute positively to HHP team environment.

Candidate must have strong attention to detail to ensure that the correct sized fasteners are sorted for delivery to assembly operations.



  • Experience with and ability to operate forklifts of all sizes safely and with confidence

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred. 2-5 years of work experience or vocational tech training is also preferred

  • Due to the manufacturing nature of this opening, all applicants must be 18 years of age

  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Must be able to follow Company safety procedures and standard operating procedures.

  • Candidate must meet all eligibility requirements to drive a Company vehicle, including but not limited to:

o Must have a current, valid driver's license.

o Must have current motor vehicle liability insurance.

o No convictions for any driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs charges (DUI) within prior 5 years.

o No greater than three (3) moving violations within prior 12 month period.

o No greater than 2 avoidable accidents on MVR within prior 3 years.


Must be able to lift 20 pounds frequently; pushing and pulling a maximum force of 20#.

Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Protective Glasses, Protective Gloves, and Protective Footwear as required.
