Description
Provides site level health services under the direction of a Health Services Director, Health Services Manager or contracted Occupational Health Physician.
Supports and educates on disease management programs at the local level and tailors programs to meet local areas of concern
Manages local supplier-partners for health care consulting, services, equipment and supplies
Engages in direct patient care such as necessary for promotion of wellbeing and occupational health Monitors and supports or implements the site’s
Occupational Health Surveillance programs, under the direction of a Health Services Director, Health Services Manager or contracted Occupational Health Physician
Maintains individual employee medical records as required by Corporate policy & local regulatory requirements
Maintains Company required recordkeeping forms and legally required records such as workers’ compensation files
This position profile also captures specialist roles such as site level Wellness Champion, Physical Therapist, etc.

Skills
Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
Health, Safety and Environmental Emergency Preparedness and Response - Participates and coordinates the emergency action plan by applying relevant regulations and best practices in emergency management to effectively mitigate risk to life and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Ergonomic Risk Assessment - Assesses work stations, work environments and tasks by utilizing Cummins preferred method of ergonomic risk analysis to identify, evaluate and prioritize ergonomic risks.
Work Related Injury and Illness Management - Communicates and documents work related injuries or illnesses through application of Cummins reporting guidelines and relevant regulations to classify and manage the event and its consequences as well as achieve regulatory compliance; cares for the affected employees by facilitating clinical treatment practices and applying case management processes to restore the employee to his/her normal condition.
Occupational Health Management - Collaborates with health experts and employees to develop and deliver occupational health programs that maintain and improve safety, health and wellbeing.
Optimizes work processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Industrial Hygiene Management - Designs and executes an industrial hygiene program by managing workplace exposure risks and implementing controls using Cummins preferred methodology and industry best practice to meet regulatory obligations and further reduce risk as low as reasonably practical to protect employee health.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
Education: Requires BS in health services field (such as Nursing, Athletic
Training, Physical/Occupational Therapy, etc)
Certification in Occupational Health preferred, as applicable (e.g. COHN)
Intermediate English language fluency preferred
Experience
2 years of experience in related field is preferred
It is also to cover Taiwan market.
