This is an exciting opportunity in Huddersfield for a Senior Financial Analyst
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
Responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports.
Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts and statistical reporting.
Prepares complex financial analyses and reports for department management.
Prepares analyses, reports, and special studies for management.
Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
Coaches less-experienced Financial Analysts.
Skills and Experience Required:
Leads plant Planning Forecasting and Reporting (PFR) process in coordination with cross functional teams in order to provide outlook for next 24months basis current trends and expected business scenarios.
Support Capex process in order to meet the capital strategy of the plant by way of financial analysis, capitalization and in maintaining capital controls.
Maintains the financial controls on inventory management.
Reviewing count results findings, calculating and establishing inventory reserves like E&O, FIFO, NRV, shrinkage, etc. in order to ensure compliance with matching concept and cover associated inventory holding risks.
Provides support to Plant Controller as required and supervises 1 member of the team
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or CIMA or ACCA
Compensation and Benefits
Salary £47,694- £49,000 (dependent on experience)
4% Variable Bonus (dependent on company’s performance)
