This is an exciting opportunity in Huddersfield for a Health, Safety and Environment Manager.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Develop and lead the overall Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) for the entire site.

  • Lead HSEMS Management Reviews with site leadership,

  • Develop complex hazard control designs, methods, procedures and programs

  • Anticipates, identifies and evaluates hazardous safety conditions and environmental risks

  • Interprets and applied internal and external standards in support of hazard and risk reduction and compliance

  • Effectively manage HSE team; training, developing and managing KPI’s

  • Trains employees and other applicable personnel on HSE procedures, practices and controls.

  • Responsibilities relating to current site upgrade

  • Support internal audits throughout the EMEA region to drive consistency and improvement across Cummins site


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Significant experience, including supervisory experience required

  • Experience of performing thorough and effective incident investigation, including root cause analysis and development of effective corrective actions

  • Ability to work on high pace moving projects, dealing with complexity and risk assessments

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in relevant field

  • NEBOSH qualification essential

Compensation and Benefits

£46,320 - £57,900

  • Variable Compensation Participation Rate (non-contractual bonus) – 12%
